Clinton-appointed federal judge blocks DeSantis-backed Florida bill banning gender transitions for minors

"Gender individuality is real. The grounds makes this clear," Judge Robert Hinkle wrote successful a 44-page preliminary injunction against parts of SB 254, adding that determination was nary ground for the authorities to contradict attraction to patients.

The ruling, however, does not use to children who person not already begun treatment.

Hinkle wrote that the prohibition was not a "legitimate authorities interest," and that it was a governmental decision. "Nothing could person motivated this singular intrusion into parental prerogatives different than absorption to transgender presumption itself," helium wrote.
