National Weather Service dragged for 'Transgender Day of Visibility' tweet: 'Just do the weather'

The National Weather Service was criticized connected Twitter for promoting the "Transgender Day of Visibility."

"To beforehand justice, equality, and equity for the transgender community, the National Weather Service household champions and stands alongside our transgender employees connected this time and each day!" the National Weather Service posted connected Twitter connected Friday.

Conservative columnist Buzz Patterson tweeted successful effect "Just bash the weather. Thanks."

Comedian Tim young tweeted, "Stick to reporting connected the weather."

Another Twitter idiosyncratic opined, "National Woke Service."

"Yall bash recognize the midwest is getting ripped up by Tornadoes close now, right?" different Twitter idiosyncratic wrote.

The National Weather Service tweet came Friday morning. Much of the South and Midwest was slammed Friday day and evening by tornadoes and terrible storms, 

The National Weather Service did not instantly respond to a petition for comment.
